Mission

Milford Middle School's mission is to meet the educational needs of each student. The students are always the highest priority. All students are expected to make a commitment to achieve at their fullest capabilities. Families and the community are welcome into the school and their input is encouraged to strengthen Milford Middle School's curriculum, services, and programs. Families, the community, school staff, and students collaborate in school planning.

The academic program focuses on standards-based instruction and assessment in all core content and related arts instructional areas.

Enrichment, advisory, and remediation programs are offered to assist students in their academic development. In preparation for high school pathways and future endeavors, students are able to explore career choices. Milford Middle School strives to meet the personal needs of each student and assists students in developing personal integrity, acceptance of responsibility, and a strong character. Students are encouraged to participate in the many academic and extracurricular activities that are available. Students proudly represent the school during activities and events at the school and throughout the community and state.

Milford Middle School establishes a positive and safe school environment that is conducive to learning. A caring, nurturing nature is present among the staff and the individuality of each student is recognized.
