Principal: Dr. Nicole Durkin

Dr. Durkin has been with Milford School District for seventeen years holding positions as math teacher, math department chairperson, technology teacher, district math specialist, district technology specialist, four years as Assistant Principal and the past two years as Principal of the Middle School. Durkin received her Bachelor degree from the University of Delaware in 1987, a Masters of Education degree from Wilmington University in 1997 and completed the Doctor of Education program at Wilmington University in 2005. Dr. Durkin says she enjoys working with the administration, staff and students of Milford Middle School to provide a positive atmosphere and quality education for all students.
Assistant Principal: Mr. Mike Hilligoss

Mr. Mike Hilligoss has been with the Milford School District for fifteen years holding positions as social studies teacher, reading teacher, facilitator of student services, dean of students, athletic director and has enjoyed coaching sports at both middle and varsity levels. Mr. Hilligoss received his Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington College. Mr. Hilligoss received his Masters degree from Delaware State University in the field of Curriculum & Instruction. He received his Administration certification in School Leadership from Wilmington College. Mr. Hilligoss began his career in the Milford School District enjoying the benefits of its schools and community. ?There is no better school district in the state of Delaware. I look forward to the challenges of the Assistant Principal position.
Assistant Principal: Mrs. Tricia Martin

Mrs. Martin has been with the Milford School District for seven years. She taught 7 th and 8 th grade Math at the Milford Middle School for five years and worked as the Math Specialist for two years. Mrs. Martin completed her Bachelor degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Delaware in 1997 and completed her Master of Education degree from Wilmington College in 2002. Since that time, she obtained her Administration Certificate from Wilmington College in 2003 and is working to complete her Doctor of Education degree. Mrs. Martin is a committed educator, life-long learner and encourages the involvement of the public, parents and students to improve the quality of education.
