MMS FACES/PTP Activities
School Spirit Shirts
MMS FACES/PTP's next big project is to provide school spirit shirts for the students of MMS. We will be providing the MMS student council with color and imprint options to select the shirt for this year. Size information will be obtained from the students during lunchtimes, and it is planned to send the order to the High School for the printing. We anticipate the shirts being available prior to the Winter Break, and look forward to the school spirit day when all students wear their new shirts!
MMS Talent Show
In February of 2008, the MMS Talent Show will be held in the school auditorium. Last year, a tremendous show was put on for a packed house and we expect this years show to be even better! MMS is full of talented students and this is their time to shine! Planning begins soon for this show. Auditions need to be held, programs made, judges lined up, bake sale coordinated and many other jobs.
Winter Means Runny Noses
Tissues are in big demand in a school full of kids and ours is no exception. MMS FACES/PTP will help defray this expense to the school by purchasing cases of tissues, but cold season can drag on and the supply can be quickly depleted. Please consider sending a box or two of tissues to school with your student, or drop them off at the school office. This is one supply item that is always needed and appreciated!
MMS FACES/PTP Meetings
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. in Room 121, which is across from the school office. Meetings last an hour or less. Minutes are sent out by e-mail.
